Rules of the house

We would like you to enjoy your stay here as much as possible. However, we ask that you follow a few simple guidelines in order to make your stay here more pleasant: 

Breakfasts

A Continental breakfast is provided to each paying guest to be eaten in the dining room. Additional breakfasts may be provided at 6 euros per person. Breakfasts are only served between 8h00 and 10h00 each day. 

Evening meals

Evening meals may be ordered upon reservation or upon arrival to be eaten in the dining room. A four-course meal costs €18 per person with children charged at half price. 

Food and Drink

Please do not eat your own food and drink in your bedroom. 

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Please keep your bedrooms and bathrooms clean at all times and leave them in the state by which you found them. In case of damage to any item in your room a charge to cover the cost of replacement/ cleaning may be made.

Do not deposit large items in the toilet – please use the rubbish bin provided in every bathroom.

Please check your shoes upon entry and do not bring mud into the house.

Please also help us by turning off lights where they are not needed and by extinguishing heaters upon vacating your room. 

Smoking

The house operates a no-smoking policy at all times. If you wish to smoke please do so outside and well away from the house and dispose of your cigarette butts considerately. 

Consideration to others

Please respect other guests by remaining quiet at all times while in the house, especially if going about the building late at night or early in the morning. 

Internet access

A computer is available in the small lounge next to the dining room for guests to use. We also have a free wireless hotspot service available in and around the small lounge. If you require help with either the free computer or free wi-fi access then do not hesitate to ask us. 

Televisions

There is a TV/DVD player in each room which receive French television broadcasts. A widescreen TV is provided for guests’ use together with British Sky satellite and a DVD player in the small lounge situated at the side of the dining room on the first floor. Please use these facilities with extreme care and do not have the volume at such a level as to annoy other guests or neighbours.

Keys

Keys to your private suite and to the front door will be given to you upon arrival. It is your responsibility to look after these keys. Any losses will be charged at 10 euros per key. Please hand them back upon leaving.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome at Maison Bellachonne at a charge of 10 euros per night. We ask owners to keep their animals under control at all times and under no circumstances are they allowed in the kitchen or dining room. Please do not feed your pet in your bedroom. There is space on the ground floor for the feeding of your pets.

While in the garden please do not allow your dog to soil the garden or to frighten the birds in the aviary. Please do not allow them to bark unduly.

Owners should clean up after their animals at all times. There is a public litter bin available in La Place de la République for disposing of animals’ waste.

Departure

We would be grateful if you could vacate your room by 10h30 on your day of departure. This is to allow sufficient time to clean rooms and prepare beds in time for subsequent guests.

Payment

We only accept cash or Euro cheques to settle your bill. We cannot accept payments by credit cards or debit cards. 

Please note that failure to comply with these rules may result in you being asked to settle your bill and leave.
